How To: Crochet Senegalese Twists

October 1, 2015

I love protective styles! It gives me time off from having to spend the extra time on my hair daily. They're also great for working out at the gym. I don't have to worry about re-twisting my hair every night, I just take off my satin cap, do a quick style, moisturize daily and go! I must say the best protective styles are the ones that don't take years to install especially when you are a busy person. I love crochet hairstyles. They give a stylish look and are quick and easy to do. I decided to install Senegalese twists using the crochet method before I gave birth to my son. I was definitely preggo in this video about to pop any minute now. I knew I wanted my focus to be on taking care of my son and on my "downtime" getting a nap in not worrying about my hair. So I put these beautiful burgundy twists in. Check out my quick tutorial to learn how to crochet Senegalese twists.
